For those who want the perfect wine to compliment the perfect moments, SR262 is a new Merlot worth exploring. Discovered by friends who were looking for something new in Washington State’s Columbia Valley, SR262 was the surprise at the end of a road less traveled.
Just as the right wine can transform and elevate a meal or a moment, so can a memento of those open-sky moments. First sampled over a conversation about life and the road ahead, we wanted to bottle and share that moment of discovery with fine dining experiences everywhere.
SR262 – bold, spicy and full of laughter.
Blended to a house style from six Columbia Valley vineyards, including Sundance and Hawk Ranch on the Wahluke Slope, SR 262 offers a consistent flavor profile with perfectly balanced notes of black cherry, chocolate and spice.
The 2016 blend is comprised of 85% Merlot, 10% Syrah and 5% Cabernet. The Merlot and Syrah are straight from stainless steel, with the Cabernet getting 12-to-14 months in French Oak.
Merlot the way it should be, from the place it grows best.
